How often should I test my hot tub?
March 08/2020

Regardless if you are on a chlorine or bromine sanitizing system, it is always recommended to test your hot tub water at least every other day. We recommend testing the water every other day, so that you can always insure that the hot tub levels remain steady, to prevent problems such as cloudy water. This way, the water is always clean and clear and ready for you to jump into it whenever you are ready!

What time of day should I test my hot tub?
You can test anytime of the day, whatever time works best for you to remember to do it on a regular basis. Consistency is the key, so make it part of your regular schedule!

How long do I wait to read the results on my test strip?
It is important to read the results immediately. The colors on the test strip will start to change colors within a few seconds, which could give you a false reading. Always read the strip immediately and then dispose of it. All test strips have an expiration date on them so always check to insure they are still valid. Expired test strips will read incorrectly and could cause you to add chemicals that are unnecessary.
