What vac can I use on my intex swimming pool?
March 13/2020 If you have the original cartridge or sand filter that came with your Intex pool, you are restricted on what swimming pool vacs will work for your filter system. The best vac in that case, is called the Black Magic or Leaf Sucker, which hooks up to your garden hose and does not require suction from your filter system. Simply attach your pole to the vac so you are able to push it around and then attach your garden hose and let it rip! The water from your garden hose will force the debris up into the bag and allow you to pull the debris out of the pool as efficiently as possible.
If you have upgraded to a large, more professional grade filter system, there are many more options available including manual suction vacs that hook into your skimmer system and run off of your filter system as well as automatic pool cleaners so you don’t have to do any of the work at all!
