Winterization of Aboveground Cartridge Filter System
March 06/2020 Remove drain cap on bottom of filter canister.
Remove cap and place where you can find it in the spring.
Unscrew canister lid.
Lift canister top lid completely off.
Remove filter from inside of filter canister. Rinse filter and keep in garage or shed to use for initial cleanup in the Spring.
Remove remaining water left in the bottom of the filter canister to insure it does not freeze or crack. Unit is light enough when completely disconnected from all hoses that you can tip it upside down if needed to remove excess water. Please lid and lock back on top of unit to secure it for the winter time.
