Best Reasons To Use a Hot Tub In the Summer!
March 09/2020 Although using a hot tub in the middle of the summer in Omaha doesn't sound like much fun, we can tell you from experience that you will benefit greatly from using your hot tub, all year round! If you haven’t tried it for yourself or you have simply drained your hot tub and left it empty until fall hits, you might want to listen closely! Here are just a few reasons why you should use your hot tub in the summer time (and all year round!)
The nights are still cool…..
Most people don’t use their hot tubs in the middle of the afternoon (not in Omaha anyways), so why does everyone worry about it being 105 degrees outside while you are soaking in your hot tub? Wait until sunset or slightly after and go for a dip! By turning the temperature down even just a few degrees from 101 to 98, it will be much more comfortable and relaxing to soak in the evenings. It’s amazing what just a few degrees can do for you!

Your body needs the hot tub more during the summer than it does even in the winter! You are lifting heavier things, mowing the yard every few days, planting flowers, repainting the house, among many other things!

Any time you drain your spa thru the summer you will more than likely need a service call once you get it started back up again to replace seals and other components that may have dried out. Once those items have had time to sit with no water running thru them, they will not seal tightly and will usually cause multiple leaks to occur around your pump and heater fittings. If the leaks are not fixed right away after refilling the spa or preventative maintenance is done before you even start to see them leak, you can have further repairs that might need to be done such as replacing an entire motor or heater system that has corroded.
Don’t sit back and stare out your window at your empty hot tub….get out there and use it! You will be amazed at the benefits it will still provide for you all summer long!
