We know you have to be SUPER anxious to get back into your relaxing hot tub (Or to use it for the first time), however……it won’t be quite ready yet for at least 24 hrs! The first product that needs to be added to the water when the hot tub is filled is the metal and stain protector (Protect Plus or Metal and Stain Remover). This product must be circulated thru for 24 hrs prior to adding any sanitizers. In order to use the hot tub, we will need to have our sanitizer level (Bromine, Chlorine, or BaquaSpa) levels in proper range prior to using the hot tub. After 24 hrs after adding the metal and stain protector, we can then add our sanitizer to the water. It is safe to enjoy your hot tub once again when your sanitizer (Bromine, Chlorine, or BaquaSpa) level is in the correct range, which could be within 48 hrs after refilling your spa! Be patient, It will be worth the wait we promise!
