Inline Sanitizing Options for your Marquis Spa!
March 08/2020 Owning a Signature Marquis Spa provides you with the convenience of automatically injecting your sanitizer into the water each time you are done soaking in your hot tub! This immediately prevents bacteria from building in the hot tub after each soak which keeps your hot tub cleaner and easier to maintain! If the sanitizer is not added after you get out, bacteria can bread quickly in the hot tub, causing unwanted cloudiness and smell.
Now you have 2 different sanitizing options available for your Frog InLine System – Bromine OR Chlorine!
Until recently, Bromine was the only active sanitizer that we could use in the Inline Sanitizing System. The bromine cartridge is replaced once per month, apprx every 3-4 weeks depending on size of spa and how often you use it. The mineral cartridge (blue) is good for the length of one hot tub fill, which is 3-4 months. The bromine cartridge will start to feel empty when it is getting time to change it, however the mineral cartridge will not feel any lighter and will need to be changed each time the spa is refilled. With Bromine, you should add 1-2 oz of shock per person after you get out of the hot tub each time. The shock will activate the Bromine that is in the water, allowing it to kill the bacteria.
It has taken some time to perfect that Chlorine Inline Sanitizing System, but it is now available as a secondary option in your Marquis Spa! Chlorine has been the primary sanitizer in the hot tub industry for many years, however this is not your standard type of chlorine. A lot of research has gone into creating a slow release chlorine in which would keep your chlorine regulated at the proper levels with less shocking needed! With a chlorine inline system, you now only have to shock every few weeks to maybe once a month! If you would like to give the new chlorine option a try, let us know at your next water change and we can get you set up! You can always switch back to bromine if you wish in the future by simply changing the water.
