What to expect after the hot tub sale!

You’ve found your perfect hot tub at Aqua Palace – now what happens!? We try to make the process as quick and easy as possible, however there are a few things we will want to make sure and tell you about:

Location of Hot Tub
It is extremely important to describe the area where the hot tub will be placed and any obstructions that may be in the way from your driveway or alley to that location. Pictures of the area are always requested to be emailed shortly after the purchase, to make sure there are no surprises and we have all the equipment (including the correct trailer) to get your hot tub positioned where you desire. This will also give us a heads up if your delivery will require any additional hands, such as neighbors or friends, to help us for 10-15 mins to get the hot tub safely in place.

Wiring Requirements
If your new hot tub is 110v, you will just need to insure that you place the hot tub as close to a standard outlet as possible (within 10 feet). If there is not an outlet close by, we would recommend calling an electrician to assist in the placement of a new outlet in the close proximity to where the hot tub will be located. We work with electricians on a regular basis and can assist you if needed.

If your new hot tub is 240v, please insure that you have a copy of the Wiring Specs which will guide you or your electrician through the proper procedure. It is very important to follow these specs exactly, to insure that the wiring will be completed as required and to insure that we are able to hook your hot tub up as a courtesy while onsite upon delivery. We do have electricians that can assist you in running the 240v and 50 amp breaker if needed.

Scheduling Delivery
Once you give us a call to confirm that everything is ready on your end (obstructions are cleared, pictures of your yard and pathway have been submitted and wiring is completed) we can then schedule you for delivery! Weather pending and depending on our schedules and the time of year, we are usually able to accommodate and schedule your delivery within a few days from the time you call and tell us you are ready to go! Our normal delivery schedule is Mon – Fri 10 am – 6 pm (arriving onsite no later than 3-4 pm).

Onsite the day of delivery
Delivery will normally take 2 hrs from the time we arrive onsite until the spa has completed filling! Once the spa is in place, we will begin filling the hot tub. As the hot tub is filling, we will install and assemble any of the other items that you may have purchased including coverlifts, steps, trays, safety rails, towel bars, environments, ect. Once the hot tub is done filling, we will give you a short tutorial on how to operate the hot tub before we leave! It will take between 12-24 hrs depending on size and configuration of the hot tub to warm up to the recommended and relaxing temperature of 100 degree. It is recommended to refrain from using the spa for at least the first 24 hrs and or until we have reached a sufficient chlorine level of 1-2 ppm.
