You will need to refill your hot tub every 3-4 months on average. Most hot tubs will have between 200-400 gals of water. The United States national average cost per gal of water is currently less than one cent ($.01) per gal. This means it will cost less than $1.00 to fill your hot tub every 3-4 months! Every hot tub manufacture has a different R-value when it comes to how well their hot tubs are insulated. The better insulated the hot tub, the more energy efficient it is.
