Aqua Palace Water Testing
March 18/2020 From time to time, issues can arise with your hot tub or pool water. If you are testing your hot tub or pool and notice that something just isn’t right, but you just can’t put your finger on it, you have the ability to bring in a water sample to Aqua Palace and we can test it for you. This helps to diagnose problems further than the standard at home test kit or test strips and will allow us a more in-depth look at what may be going on.
When Its Time To Come In?
If you have tried your regular routine and have been testing on a regular basis with no change in the quality of the water, it would be recommended to bring a water sample in to Aqua Palace for further analysis. Keep in mind, if your water is perfect and your levels are where they should be, there is no reason to do a further analysis of your hot tub or pool water. It is designed to help those who are having issues get things straightened back out and on the right track again. Thru this analysis, we can test your pH, free chlorine, total chlorine, bromine level and biquinide levels (depending on what type of sanitizer you are currently using) and several other factors if need be. After the analysis, we can give you the steps that are needed to get the water back into working order.
What You Will Need
A designated water sample bottle is preferred to use, to prevent any contamination. If you do not have a water sample bottle, you can use a reusable plastic container, water bottle, or jar that has been rinsed and cleaned out. It’s important to not have any additional bacteria or matter in the same container as the water that we will be testing for accurate results. It’s also important to take the sample no more than 2 hrs before bringing it in to us and to not allow it to sit in an extremely hot or cold car throughout the day, which can change the readings of the water and give us inaccurate results. If you would like, you can run your sample by us in the morning on the way to work and come back that afternoon when you get off to go thru the results. This will insure that the water is being tested at the appropriate time.
How It Works
We will ask a few questions as to your normal routine, when the last time was you added certain chemicals, and how long the water has been like this. We will analysis your water and come back out and give you a full report as to what we have found. We will then give you written instructions and pull the items from the shelf that you will need to correct the problem. We can also write the doses on the bottles so you don’t forget before you get home! There is no charge for our water testing analysis as long as you are purchasing chemicals the same day. It’s important to keep in mind that Aqua Palace can only guide you on how to correct the problem with the professional chemicals that we carry. If you are not currently using our chemicals, it will be hard for us to tell you (based on the strengths and brands that you are currently using) the dose that will need to be applied to the water to combat the issue. If you are always purchasing professional grade chemicals from Aqua Palace, we can assure you that you will run into fewer issues that would need additional time and chemicals resolving them.
