Pre-Owned Hot Tubs - LOTS to choose from!
March 08/2020 Purchasing a pre-owned hot tub is a great way to test the waters if you have never owned a hot tub before, while being mindful of your budget. At Aqua Palace, we have a LARGE selection of pre-owned hot tubs as we are constantly upgrading customers’ existing hot tub with newer models! Just like a car, many customers seen the benefit of trading in their hot tub every few years to purchase a brand new hot tub with brand new warranty and receive upgraded features. At Aqua Palace, even our Pre-owned hot tubs come with an in house warranty! A few of our DIY models are excluded from the in house warranty, but are super reasonable! Here are some of the important things to consider when looking into a Pre-Owned hot tub:
Condition of hot tub
Cost of equivalent hot tub model brand new compared to the cost of the pre-owned unit (usually pre-owned version is half price of the current retail of the same exact model)

Condition of the hot tub:
We have been a lifelong dealer of Marquis Spas, one of the top leading hot tub manufactures in the country year after year. Marquis builds and constructs their hot tubs on a 30 year platform – this means that most of their units are expected to last at least 30 years! Of course with time, there will also be equipment that will need to be replaced over time as it is continually running. When looking at the condition of a pre-owned hot tub, take in to consideration the skirt (whether it is real wood or synthetic) and how well it has been maintained over the years, the condition of the cover (although not a huge factor as covers are not extremely expensive in the realm of things and can easily be replaced), as well as the shell and how well it has been maintained.
Cost of equivalent model vs Pre-Owned model:
It is important to keep in mind that a pre-owned hot tub that is 10-12 years old may be selling for $5000, but it has been completely gone thru in the shop and all components have been tested and or replaced if needed – this pre-owned hot tub is ready to go as is TODAY! That same model brand new on our floor for the current model year is likely to be over $10,000 or more! What a great way to save some money, especially if you have never been a hot-tubber before! Work that has already been completed:
All of our pre-owned hot tubs go thru an inspection when they arrive at our facility. This not only allows us to clean up the unit, but it also allows us to check out all the components and insure that all components are in working condition and or replace them if needed! We provide peace of mind with all of our pre-owned hot tub purchases that everything is in working condition and even include a 30 day in house warranty with most of our units!
