 2020 has sure been a year like we’ve never seen before! We wanted to give our valued customers a review of this year to date as well as the year ahead!

 This year has proven to be full of challenges in every single aspect of every person’s life. It was no different for us at the Palace! The demand for spas, pools and saunas have seen a dramatic increase as everyone is spending more time at home and are looking for ways to stay healthy and relax away the stress. We are so thankful that many in our community, and around the world, are realizing the health benefits of these therapeutic products and the huge perk of having something readily available in your own backyard at any given time!

In March when the pandemic started, we were honestly a little concerned of what may happen with our business with all of the shut downs and stay at home orders that were announced across the nation. Our worry quickly turned into a blessing, as we became busier than we have in any recent year. When we realized we were being launched in an upward slingshot at full speed, we knew we had to hang on for the ride! To say we were a little surprised and not fully prepared would be the understatement of the year for us all, wouldn’t it?

Here’s a quick recap of 2020 at Aqua Palace :

*Hot Tub leads times went from 3-4 weeks to 4 months by end of April and have continued to elongate in lead time. Current hot tub lead times are still 6-12+ months out. We have orders placed and more shipments of spas that will be arriving in every month in 2021! If you are looking to get into a spa, make sure to get yours selected soon as our truckloads are pre-selling before they even arrive!

*Aboveground Pool manufactures were completely out of pool inventory by the first of July. We will be restocked and so will the manufacture for Spring 2021! Get a Layaway started on your perfect pool NOW and SAVE BIG! There are no additional fees for our layaway program!

*Inground Pools have been booked at a record pace and we are completely booked for the 2021 Pool Building season! If you are looking to have a custom designed, high quality inground pool installed, it's not too early to begin the planning stages and get on our 2022 schedule. 

*Sauna lead times went from instock to 6+ month lead times. They are currently 10+ months (however we do still have several instock) and more on order! If you are looking for a sauna, stop by soon and select yours so we can get your name put on one!

How we are preparing for 2021

 We have been planning and preparing for the next year for several months now! Every year, we stock back up on all of our products for the upcoming season. This allows us to insure we can take care of all of your pool & spa needs for the entire year! It also allows us to lock in the best savings possible, directly with the manufactures and then we pass those savings back on to you!

We have upped our inventory capacity to accommodate the additional supply that will be needed for the upcoming season with the anticipated demand.  We were fortunate that we were well stocked at the beginning of 2020 as we always are, however we did not expect supply & demand to be as high as it was! They are predicting 2021 to be similar, with more people staying close to home and vacationing in their own backyards due to travel being riskier and more cumbersome. Due to hurricanes hitting a major chlorine facility, high demand and some unfortunate warehouse fires – a chlorine shortage has already occurred and will be prevalent through 2021 as well. Rest assured, we have anticipated this and will be staying on top of things to supply all of our customers. Due to raw material costs, they are predicting a pretty big increase in many manufactured products, affecting many industries, including the pool & spa industry. We are working hard to fill our warehouse with all of the products you may need next year, at the best prices for you!

 We have updated our shopping cart on our website (https://shop.aquapalace.com/) and you can now place an order online, apply your loyalty discount code and select free pick up or have it shipped directly to you! We have a contact-free pickup station located a few feet inside our front door so you can grab your order and go!

We are always here for our loyal customers – if there is anything we can do to make this unprecedented time a little easier for you to enjoy your swimming pool or hot tub, please let us know! It has been a long year in so many ways for ALL of us, but we are making it so keep hanging in there.
