Your Hot Tub Delivery - The Full Experience
March 08/2020 At Aqua Palace, we provide the full hot tub delivery experience! We don’t want to just drop your hot tub in your driveway (like some hot tub dealers do), we want to make sure it’s set into place and is filled and running before we leave! Here’s what you can expect from us when you purchase a new hot tub from the largest hot tub dealer in the Omaha metro!
Snap a Picture
We always recommend that you provide us a glimpse of what your location looks like and where the hot tub will be placed. This allows us to see any obstacles that you might not have thought of and will also tell us if there is any additional equipment that we will need to bring or if any additional help will need to be provided from your family, friends or neighbors (we would only need them for a few mins!) Email us a couple snapshots of the front and backyard , showing the access that we have and where the hot tub will be placed as soon as you can after purchasing your hot tub! This will help to expedite getting your hot tub scheduled for delivery!
Perfect Placement
Insure the pathway leading from the driveway or entrance to the yard all the way to where the hot tub will be placed is clear and free of any obstacles including gates or fences that have too small of an opening, patio furniture, ect. Depending on each individual delivery situation, we may require you to provide some additional help to get the hot tub into place. We must insure for the safety of everyone and also your new hot tub, that we have the proper amount of hands on deck to safely get it placed into your desired location, as most of our hot tubs weigh between 500-1000 lbs! Our standard delivery includes (1) tech provided by Aqua Palace. If you are unable to provide any additional help if it is required, Aqua Palace can further assist you (charges may apply).
Complete hook up
If your wiring is properly finished and ready to go upon delivery, we will hook up the unit and start filling the hot tub for you as a courtesy! If your hot tub model is a 220v unit, please insure that you have all the proper instructions and spec sheet to hand to your electrician prior to our arrival on what needs to be done so we can finish hooking up your new hot tub upon delivery! For 110v units, the only requirement is that we are within 10 feet from an outdoor outlet so the unit can be plugged in!
Warming up before we leave
Once we have finished wiring the hot tub, we will begin filling it! We will make sure it is running and starting to heat before we leave! It will take a little bit of time to heat up to your desired temperature, but you will soon be soaking away your aches and pains in your brand new hot tub! 110v hot tub models typically gain 1-2 degrees an hr where as 220v hot tubs gain 3-4 degrees an hour or more!
Short chemical tutorial
We know you are eager and anxious at this point to hop on in your hot tub – however there are some basic things you’ll need to know about the hot tub in order to properly maintain it. If a chemical kit was purchased from Aqua Palace, it will be delivered onsite and we will go through some basic chemical procedures to help get you started. We know it seems like a lot to take in at once, so we won’t go over all of the chemicals at this time to help keep things simple! There is a cheat sheet included with all of our chemical kits, which will elaborate on all of the chemicals that are in your bucket of goodies! The first product that will be added is a metal and stain remover, which will eliminate the harmful effects of iron, calcium, manganese, and copper that is in your water. It is recommended to allow this product to circulate for 24 hrs before we start introducing our sanitizer (chlorine or bromine) into the water. The hot tub will be safe to use once we are able to add our sanitizer and we have a good base established!
